John Day

Professional profile

Dr. John F. Day is assistant professor of Spanish and has been at St. Norbert College since 1998. His current research interests include contemporary Costa Rican fiction and the tension between the oral and literate cultural traditions of Costa Rica, and the presence of non-western cultures and perspectives generally in the literature of Latin America.

He has directed study abroad programs in Ecuador and Costa Rica, and has taken students for shorter immersion trips to Costa Rica.
