The St. Norbert College Civility Statement, introduced last year, calls on all of us, as members of the St. Norbert College community, to respect the sacred dignity of all persons, live with integrity, communicate truthfully, practice radical hospitality, and serve the needs of those around us. It's not complicated, treating one another with genuine respect and kindness—with civility—but it's not always easy. This year we will be highlighting the theme with co-curricular programming and academic coursework. This is an important way of saying this is the kind of place we wish to be—a college that embodies the spirit of communio, even in the most contentious of political seasons.
