AXIA Application
AXIA is prepared and led by a team of students for the
purposes of offering an intense retreat experience where one can explore the
richness of our Catholic Faith in an open and inclusive environment. During this retreat, you will hear and
participate in real experiences that will connect us with different types of
expressions and prayer opportunities that explore the breadth of the Catholic
Tradition. Essential elements of
this retreat are experiences of Mass, Reconciliation, Eucharistic Adoration,
and Common Prayer. The retreat
also offers a few opportunities for you to spend time alone to pray, read, and
reflect as well as an opportunity to meet new people. The retreat will take
place at Mount Tabor Retreat Center starting on Friday evening, October 26, and
going until Sunday, October 28.
Since this retreat seeks to create a healthy environment of
community we ask that if you have any conflicts in scheduling that you
prayerfully consider whether you can devote the time to this weekend.
You have now taken the first step by receiving an
application. Now we ask you to pray and discern whether you are being called to
turn in your application and take the next step in this process. If you do discern that this opportunity
is for you, then please return your application and $30.00 to the person you
received it from to help defer the costs of your stay and food. (If you are considering not

application you are committing to being open to participating in this retreat
in its entirety.
