T.R.I.P.S.
Every year, the College's departments of Leadership, Service and Engagement (LSE) and Campus Ministry organize alternative break service T.R.I.P.S. (Turning Responsibility Into Powerful Service). These trips bring together diverse groups of students, faculty and staff for a week of personal, social and spiritual growth. The participants are provided immersion experiences in various communities through direct service dealing with social issues.

Through meaningful reflection and exposure to social issues, alternative break experiences lead to individual commitment toward social change. During these trips, the participants take part in projects involving home construction, tutoring in the inner city, violence prevention, homelessness, poverty, HIV/AIDS and environmental issues. Advent Candle Project wrapping party
This is a yearly event in conjunction with the parish’s Advent Candle Project. Students and other parishioners wrap over 300 gifts for the needy in the area. It is a fun and festive night of wrapping and celebrating what Christmas is all about. This year's event will take place on Monday, Dec. 1 starting at 6:00pm at Old St. Joseph Church.
