Reflection
This week’s second reading (1 Pt 2:20b-25) is all about love. This love returns ‘no threat’ and ‘no insult’ when provoked, and is ready and willing to suffer for another. This love is rooted deeply in that which binds us all: humanity and the respect for the dignity each of us inherently declare. Recognition of this concept of human solidarity leads to the ability to love deeply and interact peacefully and justly. It is important to foster this
