The Rev. Dr. Jay Fostner, O.Praem. graduated from St. Norbert College in 1984 after entering the Norbertine Order in 1982. Receiving an M.Div. in Theology, Fostner was ordained in 1988 and spent his first four years as a priest teaching and serving as Campus Minister for what is now Notre Dame Academy in Green Bay. Finishing his Ph.D. and psychology license for the state of Wisconsin, Father Jay returned to the College in 1997.
He first counseled in, and then became director of, the St. Norbert College Counseling Center, while continuing to teach psychology and in the Masters of Theological Studies program. In 2005, Father Jay was promoted to vice president for Mission and Heritage. He continues to teach on a part-time basis. |
