Professional profile
Julie Friedman joined the division of Mission and Heritage in June 2005. She handles all administrative duties for the Vice President and communicates with other areas within the division. Julie coordinates the annual Heritage Days celebration, along with several other community-building events throughout the year.

She has been with St. Norbert College since 1993, initially working in the Young Artist Workshops and then in the Office of College Advancement. She also served in the Wisconsin Army National Guard’s 139th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment, deploying to Germany and Bosnia in 1997-98 and to Iraq in 2004-05.

Now retired from her career in military photojournalism, Julie continues to write about Mission and Heritage initiatives for the @St. Norbert e-newsletter and the St. Norbert College Magazine.
