Spanish House
For students at the more advanced levels of Spanish study, the modern languages and literatures discipline offers residence in the Spanish House, located in the residential area near campus and other St. Norbert College student houses. In addition to taking advantage of a significant opportunity to use and improve their Spanish language skills on a daily basis, residents also are responsible for planning and carrying out cultural events for the College community.
A further benefit to living in the Spanish House is the presence of the Spanish teaching assistant, an exchange student from a Spanish-speaking country who also lives in the house. Students apply to live for one or two semesters in the house, with preference given to those about to study abroad and those who have returned from studying abroad. The modern languages and literatures discipline hopes to provide language houses in the future for the other languages offered through the discipline.
If you would like to live in the Spanish House, please contact
John Day or
Brad Ellis.
