Matthew is now in his 17th year as a pastor at Sturgeon Bay Moravian Church. Matthew holds a Bachelor's degree in Christian Education from Wheaton College, a Master of Divinity from Moravian Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry in Leadership Development from Bethel Theological Seminary.
He is married to Kimberly (Newton) Knapp and they have four sons. Matthew's passions in ministry include worship, youth and mission.
His personal ministry verse is: Micah 6:8 "And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."
