Music majors can prepare for a variety of careers with the foundation and training necessary to pursue a career in performance. A St. Norbert College music degree is also an effective basis for continuing study at the graduate school level.  

Music education teaching certification in one or more of the following areas:

• choral music 6-12
• instrumental music K-12
• general music K-12 
• adaptive music education for special needs students

The liberal arts major:

• music therapy
• music business and merchandising
• arts management
• advanced skills in theory and composition, accompanying and piano pedagogy
