Flute Choir

Flute choir is an ensemble dedicated to the performance of outstanding flute literature. Music of all styles is featured in their repertoire. Several concerts are given on and off campus. The group is joined by invitation of the director. |

Clarinet choir is an ensemble dedicated to the performance of outstanding clarinet literature. Music of all styles is featured in the repertoire. Several concerts are given on and off campus. The group is joined by invitation of the director. |

Brass Ensembles
Directors: Dr. Linda Cook and Dr. Eric High
Trombone ensemble, tuba euphonium ensemble and trumpet ensemble are comprised of three to eight performers who rehearse one hour per week and perform several times per semester.

Woodwind Ensembles
Director: Dr. Frederick Schmidt
Woodwind ensembles are joined by invitation of the director. The groups perform a wide variety of music and have appearances throughout the school year. Groups of all types are formed, but on-going ensembles include: woodwind quintet, clarinet choir and saxophone quartet. |

Accompanying
Instructor: Mrs. Elaine Moss
Experience in accompanying is open to music majors and minors, as well as to non-majors. Required coursework includes accompanying two lessons and rehearsals per week, plus consent of the piano instructor. Additional credit in accompanying is available through independent study.
