For students in grades 7-9.

The annual St. Norbert College Middle Level Honors Band Festival will be held on Saturday, November 5th on the SNC campus.  Once again, we will host both a 7/8th Grade Band and a 9th Grade Band as part of our festival.   Our guest clinician this year will be Dr. Brian Silvey, Associate Director of Bands at the University of Missouri.  Dr. Silvey will conduct the 7/8th Grade Band and Dr. Michael Knight, Director of Bands at St. Norbert College, will conduct the 9th Grade Band.

This day of band clinics is for Wisconsin and Upper Michigan band students in grades 7-9.  Please use the downloadable registration form to recommend a maximum of five of your finest band students for inclusion in each of the Honors Bands.  Selection of members for the Honors Bands will be based upon the directors’ recommendations and instrumentation needs.

Students will eat lunch in the Bemis Conference Center and directors are invited to a luncheon with the conductors.

Please plan to be part of this exciting day for students and directors.  As we anticipate the typically large response, be certain your student applications are received before Monday, October 3.  You will receive notification of those students selected from your school during the third week of October.  The student registration fee of $60.00 includes the "all-you-care-to-eat" lunch.  We will conclude our day with a 4:00pm performance in the Walter Theater.  Admission to the concert is free!
