MENC: the national association for music education

MENC was founded in 1907 when 104 music supervisors from 16 states accepted an invitation to take part in a special conference for school music supervisors in Keokuk, Iowa. Today, MENC has more than 120,000 members involved in all levels of music education from preschool through college and in all areas of music education including general music, choral, band, orchestral and music teacher education.

Friends of Music

A new chapter has opened at St. Norbert College.  The formation of the St. Norbert College Friends of Music.  The newly formed organization will be focusing on the encouragement, support and development of music at St. Norbert College, overall uniting alumni and friends to promote the growth of music at the College.  Visit Friends of Music website.
