Jeffrey Verkuilen provides organ instruction for St. Norbert College. Jeff is also the organ accompanist for the Dudley Birder Chorale, for which is past member of the Board of Directors and chaired its creative team.
Jeff serves as the director of music and organist at First Presbyterian Church in Neenah, and also is the principal organist for the Green Bay Symphony Orchestra.
He is an active member of the American Guild of Organists (AGO), for which he earned his Associate certification. In the AGO, Jeff currently serves as coordinator for education for the organization’s region VI, comprising the upper-Midwest states. He is a former Dean of the AGO’s northeastern Wisconsin chapter, and served as the convention chair for the Region VI convention of the Guild held in northeastern Wisconsin in 1997. Jeff is a board member of the Green Bay Civic Symphony.
Jeff began playing organ for church at age 11 in his hometown of Little Chute, Wis. He graduated with honors in 1984 from St. Norbert College, where he majored in accounting and music with organ and choral emphases. He received the master of business administration degree from the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh in 2002, with graduate honors.
Jeff is employed full-time as the Finance Officer / Controller at Heid Music Company in Appleton, and is certified as a public accountant.
