Professional profile
Dr. Michael Rosewall has been a part of the music faculty at St. Norbert since 1992. He has represented Northeast Wisconsin as a Vice-President of the Wisconsin Music Educators Executive Council and served on the board of the Wisconsin Choral Directors Association as regional representative and chair of the repertoire and standards committee.
He founded the Green Bay Chamber Choir in 1992 and served as its artistic director for 12 seasons. Rosewall is an active conductor, recitalist and clinician throughout the region.
He is author of "Directory of Choral-Orchestral Music," (Routledge 2007), a comprehensive reference book and catalogue of more than 3,000 works for chorus and orchestra. His choral works are published by Augsburg Fortress Press.
St. Norbert College has honored Dr. Rosewall with both the Leonard Ledvina Outstanding Teacher Award and the Rembert Weakland Award for Community Service.
