Professional profile
Dr. Michael Rosewall has been a part of the music faculty at St. Norbert since 1992. He teaches music history and theory, applied voice, conducting, and directs ensembles in the choral program. He is the graduate school advisor for the discipline, and serves as advisor for a variety of academic and extra-curricular student organizations on campus.
He has represented Northeast Wisconsin as a Vice-President of the Wisconsin Music Educators Executive Council and served on the board of the Wisconsin Choral Directors Association as regional representative and chair of the repertoire and standards committee.
Dr. Rosewall is Director of Music at Union Congregational Church United Church of Christ in Green Bay, where he directs the Chancel Choir. He founded the Green Bay Chamber Choir in 1992 and served as its artistic director for 12 seasons. Rosewall is an active conductor, recitalist, and clinician throughout the region.
St. Norbert College has honored Dr. Rosewall with both the Leonard Ledvina Outstanding Teacher Award and the Rembert Weakland Award for Community Service.
