Professional profile
Dr. Michael Rosewall is vice president of the Wisconsin Music Educators Association Executive Council and has served on the board of the Wisconsin Choral Directors Association as northeast representative and chair of the repertoire and standards committee.
He founded the Green Bay Chamber Choir in 1992 and served as its artistic director for 12 seasons. Rosewall is an active conductor, recitalist and clinician throughout the region.
Dr. Rosewall's book, "A Directory of Choral-Orchestral Music," published by Routledge in 2006, is the first reference book to catalogue pertinent performance information about more than 3,000 works for chorus and orchestra. His choral works are published by Augsburg Fortress Press.
St. Norbert College has honored Dr. Rosewall with both the Leonard Ledvina Outstanding Teacher Award and the Rembert Weakland Award for Community Service. |
