The Drowsy Chaperone
Music Theatre presents The Drowsy Chaperone as part of their 2014 season!
The Drowsy Chaperone opened in New York in 2006 and played successfully for 2 years. It is a spoof of the “old-fashioned” musical, extremely funny and entertaining!
A 20-member veteran cast has been selected for the St. Norbert College Music TheatreJune production of the 2006 Tony Award-winning The Drowsy Chaperone. Directed and
choreographed by Alicia Birder, the musical comedy is scheduled for nine performances in the 180-seat Webb Theatre, June 10-22.
The Drowsy Chaperone is constructed as an ensemble musical with 13 principal and 7 supporting roles. All but 3 of the performers selected have appeared in several previous SNC Music Theatre productions.
Principal male roles include Parker Drew, Mike Ajango, Warren Elliott, Evan Lloyd, Jim Prast and Jon Weiss. Female principal roles will be played by Holly Terrien-Prast, Ana Bakken,
Susan Elliott, Ann Preiss Gray, Caitlin Lloyd, Lorry Stiles and April Strom-Johnson.
Appearing in supporting ensemble roles are Keith Lutz, Cody Finer, James Marker, Theo Terrell, Sallie Harrigan, Carrie Liebhauser and Becca Schaberg.
The production staff will include Kent Paulsen, Musical Director; Corey Pinchert, Technical Director; April Beiswenger, Set Designer; Chad Bishop, Stage Manager and Sam Van
Beek, Assistant Stage Manager.
