Respect, a Musical Journey of Women
Back by popular demand – we played to 19 SOLD-OUT performances last summer. Dorothy Marcic’s current smash hit,
Respect is the thrilling story of women as told through top-40 songs, combining excerpts from more than 60 hit songs from 1900 up to the present with women’s own stories about striving for their dreams, recovering from lost love, entering the work force, gaining independence and, ultimately, finding themselves. It’s exhilarating, hysterical and historical – an evening of laughter, nostalgia and pure delight! Critics have praised
Respect as “somewhere between Oprah and Mama Mia.” The musical is scheduled for 16 performances in the 180-seat Webb Theater June 18-July 3.
Respect , directed and choreographed by Alicia Birder with Kent Paulsen as musical director, will again feature the same highly acclaimed ’07 cast of players: Holly Terrien Rottier, Linda Feldmann, Lorry Stiles, April Strom, Paula Tolksdorf and Alicia Birder in their original roles.
