St. Norbert Abbey to host John Bruce organ concert series

The schedule has been announced for the 2008-2009 John Bruce organ concert series. All performances will be held at St. Norbert Abbey, located at 1016 N. Broadway St., De Pere, Wis. The concerts are open to the public and donations can be given at the door.

The concert series will be as follows:

- Paul Jacobs, Saturday, Oct. 18, at 2:00 p.m.
Paul Jacobs is the head of the organ department at Juilliard, in New York City. He has been a frequent performer in the John Bruce Concert series at the abbey. In 2003 at the age of 26, he was appointed to the Juilliard faculty, making him one of the youngest faculty appointments in the school
