St. Norbert College to host Midwest Journalism Conference

The St. Norbert Times, the student newspaper at St. Norbert College, is hosting the first annual Midwest Journalism Conference on Saturday, April 25 and Sunday, April 26.

Adi Redzic, editor of the St. Norbert Times, says the conference was created to develop collegiality, insightful lessons about writing, editing, and business, and practical insights about all facets of producing a revolutionary student newspaper.

Craig Gilbert, who is the Washington bureau chief and political reporter for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, will be the keynote speaker. Gilbert has covered the past six presidential elections and numerous U.S. House and Senate races. George Stanley, managing editor of the Journal Sentinel, will present on
