Fourth Annual college community celebration includes music and fireworks

St. Norbert College will kickoff the new school year on Sunday, Aug. 30, with a number of activities that will offer the whole college community an opportunity to come together to celebrate the start of a new school year. Faculty, students and staff, along with their families, will enjoy the following on Aug. 30:

4:30 p.m. - Mass of the Holy Spirit. (Old St. Joseph Church)

5:45 p.m. - Faculty/staff robing; first-year students line-up for convocation procession. (Bush Art Center)

6 p.m. - College-wide convocation with President Thomas Kunkel's opening remarks. (Lawn in front of Main Hall, rain site is the Walter Theatre located in the Abbot Pennings Hall of Fine Arts)

6:30 p.m. - Picnic; concert provided by Boogie and the Yo-Yo'z. (Outside the Campus Center, rain site is Sensenbrenner Memorial Union)

8:30 p.m. - Fireworks (Weather permitting)
