St. Norbert College grad, Aimee Berner, appointed principal at Chicago Healthcare Strategy Firm

Berner brings more than 20 years of healthcare and pharmaceutical business leadership experience to GAC, a firm founded in 2000, whose consulting and strategic advising helps pharmaceutical, biotech, device, diagnostics, medical research, and consumer health companies build plans for growth, optimize their product portfolios, transform existing businesses, plan launches for new businesses and products, and facilitate partnerships and investments.
Berner formerly held senior management positions in large and midsize U.S. and global healthcare corporations. She has demonstrated expertise in marketing and business strategy, new product development, product launch plan development, and life cycle and partnership alliance management as director of gastroenterology marketing for Takeda Pharmaceuticals. As VP and director of client services at Torre Lazur McCann advertising she focused on team leadership for this major healthcare advertising agency. Berner also held senior marketing, planning, and brand management positions at Searle Pharmaceuticals.
Berner is a speaker at national and international healthcare conferences including the Decade of the Bone and Joint international conference and the Center for Business Intelligence Pharmaceutical Product Launch Summit. She is on the Board of Directors for the Chicago chapter of the Healthcare Businesswoman's Association. Berner earned an MA from Arizona State University and a BA from St. Norbert College.
