Justice Janine Geske to speak at St. Norbert College Phenomenal Woman Conference

Geske has received numerous awards, ranging from the F.B.I. Director's Community Award and a Wisconsin State Bar Fellows Award, to St. Norbert
College's own Peacemaker of the Year Award in 2007. She regularly teaches at judicial, legal and community conferences on mediation, restorative justice, evidence, the courts, women's issues and spirituality and work. Justice Geske serves as a Distinguished Professor of Law at Marquette University Law School and is the director and founder of the university's Restorative Justice Initiative.
The Phenomenal Woman Conference focuses on celebrating, advocating, supporting and empowering women, and includes: lunch; Justice Geske's keynote presentation; interactive workshops; vendor exhibits; gifts and raffles; and a closing session of songs from Milwaukee performing artist Azeeza Islam.
Workshops include: Reading the Word and Reading the World: Understanding Our Call to Action; The Balancing Act: Motherhood and Your Career; The Phenomenal Woman in My Life (a men's panel); and The Feminization of Poverty.
