Fifth annual college community celebration to kick-off the new year, includes music and fireworks

St. Norbert College will kick off the new school year on Sunday, Aug. 29, with a number of activities that will offer the whole college community an opportunity to come together to celebrate the start of a new school year.

Faculty, students and staff, along with their families, can enjoy the following on Aug. 29:

4:30 p.m.
Mass of the Holy Spirit
Old St. Joseph Church

5:45 p.m.
Faculty/staff robing; first-year students line-up for convocation procession.
Bush Art Center

6:00 p.m.
College-wide convocation with President Thomas Kunkel's opening remarks.
Lawn in front of Main Hall. The rain site is the Walter Theatre.

6:30 p.m.
Picnic; concert provided by Boogie and the Yo-Yo'z
Outside Campus Center. The rain site is the Sensenbrenner Memorial Union.

8:30 p.m.
Fireworks
