Richard McCreary to speak on "Government Contracting Growth in Wisconsin"

Richard McCreary, CEO, President and General Manager of Marinette Marine Corporation in Marinette, Wis., will present "Government Contracting Growth in Wisconsin" as part of the St. Norbert College CEO Breakfast and Strategy Series, Tuesday, Nov. 16, from 7:30-8:30 a.m. at the F.K. Bemis International Center on the St. Norbert College campus. McCreary's session is sponsored by the New North.

Marinette Marine is renowned as a premier shipbuilder of commercial and military vessels. Richard McCreary was appointed to his current position January 1, 2009, after joining the company as vice president and general manager in May 2005. He has total profit -and-loss responsibility for Marinette Marine.

McCreary has been employed in the marine industry since 1977. Prior to joining Marinette Marine, he was the executive vice president of VT Halter Marine. Before that, he was president of Halter Marine Inc., senior vice president of Halter Marine Group, president of the Gulf Division of Maritrans Inc. and vice president of operations for the Canal Barge Company.
