St. Norbert College professor wins art award

DE PERE: Charles Peterson, professor of Art at St. Norbert College, was selected as the 2004 recipient of the Outstanding Art Educator, Higher Education Division Award.

Peterson was recognized for his service to the Wisconsin Art Education Association (WAEA) and to art education in Wisconsin. He will be recognized at the Wisconsin Art Education Association fall conference on Thursday, Oct. 28, at the Overture Center for the Arts in Madison.

Peterson will retire in May after 36 years of teaching at St. Norbert College.
