Nicole Jagielski '12 named Australian Student Ambassador

Nicole Jagielski, a senior at St. Norbert College from Stillman Valley, Ill., has been named an Australian Student Ambassador for the 2011-2012 school year by the Australian Education Office, after studying at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia, during the Fall of 2010.

Forty student ambassadors from the United States and Canada were chosen for the program based on the strength of their nomination from their North American and Australian institutions, their skills in organization, their professional and articulate manner, and their passion about Australian higher education.

Jagielski will join her fellow Australian Student Ambassadors for an orientation weekend in Washington, D.C., after which she will work to promote Australia's unique and prestigious opportunities for study abroad through on-campus events during the upcoming school year. Jagielski follows St. Norbert College alums Kelly Roberts and Kassie Lang in the role of Australian Student Ambassador.
