Norbertine heritage tour over J-term at St. Norbert College

Participants will study the history, current mission and vision for the future of each Abbey. They will tour the Abbeys, pray with the Norbertine fathers and sisters, and spend time in various cities, including Amsterdam, Antwerp and Brussels.
Abbeys included in the Heritage Tour are Berne Abbey in Netherlands, from which Abbot Bernard Pennings, O.Praem., and most of the early Norbertines came to Northeast Wisconsin in 1893, and Grimbergen Abbey which was founded in 1128 by the Abbey of Premontre during St. Norbert's lifetime.
