St. Norbert College to present junior vocal recital

The St. Norbert College music department presents students Lauren Belanger and Clara Rose performing a junior vocal recital on Friday, Oct. 12, at 3 p.m. in the Walter Theatre, Abbot Pennings Hall of Fine Arts. The event is free and open to the public.

Belanger, from Escanaba, Mich., will perform selections by Felix Mendelssohn, J.S. Bach, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Charles Gounod, Richard Hundley, Leonard Bernstein and Giacomo Rossini.

Rose, from Milwaukee, will perform selections from Carlisle Floyd, Harry B. Smith, Reynaldo Hahn, Franceso Paulo Tosti, Josephine Lang, Franz Lehar and A. Scarlatti.

Belanger and Rose will also perform a duet from Mozart's opera The Marriage of Figaro. The entire performance will be accompanied by professional accompanist Sunny Link on piano.
