De Pere: The St. Norbert College Philanthropy and Development Institute presents a Grant Proposal Planning and Writing workshop Thursday, May 13 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and a Computerized Grant Seeking workshop Friday, May 14 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Sensenbrenner Memorial Union.

The goal of the Grant Proposal Planning and Writing workshop is to assist organizations in improving their success rate in winning grants from foundations, corporations, and government agencies during tough economic times. The workshop will also assist participants in developing their own skills and gaining confidence as they design their own successful grant-seeking strategy.

The Computerized Grant Seeking workshop is designed for people who have completed the Grant Proposal Planning and Writing workshop and have a basic knowledge of grants and computers. The workshop will blend advanced-level grant development strategies with the latest in computerized information management. For both workshops, time will be given to participants
