Wisconsin student papers sought for Wisconsin Peace and Justice Conference, St. Norbert College

Wisconsin college and university students are invited to send submissions. The conference is open to students from all disciplines and seeks submissions at the individual, national and international levels on the theme "Promoting Positive Peace."
Possible topics include: respecting human rights; enhancing economic and ecological well-being; engaging in nonviolent resolution of conflict; personal and social transformation; call to family, community, and participation; rights and responsibilities; dignity of work and the rights of workers; and solidarity.
Categories for submissions: papers (5-15 pages), round table discussions (3 or more persons), creative writing (poems, short stories) or persuasive speeches.
Students whose submissions are accepted must attend the conference. Cash recognition awards will be presented. Initial proposals can be made by e-mail to pjc@snc.edu . Completed papers must be submitted in hard copy by Friday, March 19. Two copies must be submitted and should include a separate page with the author's name, mailing and e-mail address, phone, and category of submission.
