Phenomenal Woman conference at St. Norbert College

De Pere: The annual Phenomenal Woman Conference will be held Saturday, March 6 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. in the F.K. Bemis International Center, St. Norbert College. The conference is open to all women ages 18 and over, and features keynote speaker Liz Murray.

Murray grew up in a home with two drug-addicted parents and was homeless and orphaned at age 15. While living on the streets of New York City, she finished high school in two years and earned a scholarship to attend Harvard University. She detailed her life story in her published memoir,
