Asian Celebration Week at St. Norbert College

DE PERE: St. Norbert College Department of Cultural Diversity presents Asian Celebration Week with events including a Talent Show and Fashion Show on October 13 in the Ray Van Den Heuvel Campus Center. All events are free and the community is invited to attend to celebrate Asian cultures from all over the world.

The event will be from 5:30-8:00 p.m. A St. Norbert College faculty member will start the night off with some opening statements on different Asian cultures. The Talent Show will feature students singing, dancing and reading poetry about Asian cultures. The Fashion Show will feature students showcasing different traditional costumes from all over Asia, including China, Hmong, Japan, Korea, Laos, Singapore, Thailand and more. There will be a variety of foods being served representing Asian cultures such as Japanese, Chinese, Korean and more.
