St. Norbert College presents Susan Bender

DE PERE: Guest artist Susan Bender will perform a vocal recital on Sunday, Oct. 30 at 7:30 p.m. in the Walter Theatre, Abbot Pennings Hall of Fine Arts. This concert is free and open to the public.

Bender, a versatile soprano and teacher at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, was a Metropolitan Opera National Council Winner in 1986 and made her professional debut with the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra. Since that time she has appeared in concert as a soloist with numerous musical establishments. She has also received two Helen Hayes nominations from the Washington Theater Awards Association for her work in musical theater. Bender
