The Dudley Birder Chorale of St. Norbert College presents "America Sings"

Included in the Broadway part of the program will be a "Tribute To George Gershwin," Jerome Kern's "Showboat," Jerry Herman's "Hello, Dolly!" and selections from "West Side Story," "Gypsy," "Funny Girl," "On The Town" and "The Music Man."
The American gospel tradition will be represented by "Precious Lord," "Take My Hand" and a collection of several familiar spirituals by John Rutter, "Feel The Spirit" for which the chorale will be accompanied by an eight-piece Dixieland combo.
American patriotism will be reflected in Fred Waring's arrangement of "Give Me Your Tired," "Your Poor" and two works arranged by Director Dudley Birder: "Battle Hymn of the Republic" and a tribute to September 11, 2001 entitled, "In Memoriam."
