The Brass Factory to appear at "Knights on the Fox"

The Brass Factory will appear at the "Knights on the Fox" summer concert series on the St. Norbert College campus on Tuesday, July 18 at 6:30 p.m. Local resident Wendy Franklin will emcee the evening's festivities. The five-week outdoor concert series is held on Tuesday evenings through August 8. All the concerts are free and open to the public.

The Brass Factory was formed at St. Norbert College in 1965 and specializes in big band classics. Trumpeter Dan Grassl directs the group. This event will mark the band's first appearance at "Knights on the Fox."

Wendy Franklin is the director of benefits, human resource systems and strategy at Schreiber Foods. She holds a master's degree in organizational management. Franklin is the president elect of the YWCA board of directors and vice chairperson of the Brown County ethics committee.

"Knights on the Fox" features local performers and a picnic atmosphere perfect for families. Sandwiches, hotdogs, popcorn, ice cream, bottled water and soda will be available for purchase
