St. Norbert College holds autumn band concert

St. Norbert College will hold its annual Autumn Band Concert on Friday, Nov. 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the Walter Theatre, Abbot Pennings Hall of Fine Arts. The concert will feature the Concert Band and Wind Ensemble.

Eric High, assistant professor of Music, will be directing the Concert Band and Frederick Schmidt, professor of Music, will direct the Wind Ensemble.

The concert will include a variety of musical arrangements performed by both ensembles. The Concert Band will have selections from Andrew Boysen, Jr., Norman Dello Joio, Michael Colgrass and John Williams. The Wind Ensemble will be performing pieces such as "The Merry Wives of Windsor Overture," "Gemeinhardt Suite" and "Toccata in Dance Rhythm."
