This year's Soul Food Dinner will feature keynote speaker Kevin Powell, author of "Who's Gonna Take the Weight? Manhood, Race, and Power in America." Powell has been hailed as one of the most important voices of his generation. Famed scholar, Michael Eric Dyson, calls Powell "one of America's most brilliant young cultural critics."

Green Bay's all female step team, "Keeping It Real," will also be featured performers. Step dance incorporates traditional and contemporary African ritual dancing with various elements of hip hop dance steps.
