St. Norbert College professor to take part in civil war seminar

Larry McAndrews, professor of history at St. Norbert College, has been selected to participate in "The Civil War in Global Context" seminar June 24-30 at New York University.

McAndrews is a noted historian on U.S. primary and secondary education politics and policy from the landmark Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 to the end of President Bill Clinton's first term in office (January 1997).

His work has been published in numerous professional journals and newspapers and he has presented many papers at national conferences.

Larry McAndrews has been at St. Norbert College since 1985.
