De Pere fire department to train at St. Norbert college-owned houses

The De Pere Fire Department will utilize three houses belonging to St. Norbert College for training before the houses are razed this month to begin construction on a new residential hall.

Fire crews from De Pere will train in houses located at 606 Third Street, and 309 and 317 Marsh Streets on Tuesday, Aug. 12 from 1-4 p.m., and Wednesday, Aug. 13 from 1-4 p.m.

According to De Pere fire chief Robert Kiser the department will go through life saving procedures, ladder work, ventilation, patient movement, and fire fighter survival.
