Jason Wright ’99

Video Production Specialist

Jason is a 1999 graduate of St. Norbert College with a degree focusing on business, art and communication. He joined the college community full-time in 2000 as the developer of the digital arts center, located in the former Media Services.

Over the course of seven years, Jason built up the digital arts center. In February 2012, he joined the office of communications with personal ambitions to build a video department that will be just as robust as the digital arts center.

Jason's current responsibilities are working with clients of the office of communications to plan, shoot and edit the bulk of the college's videos. He works closely with media relations director, Mike Counter, in producing "Conversations from St. Norbert College," a monthly 30-minute television show distributed in the Midwest and on the web.

Another key responsibility of Jason's is to generate an archiving system for the finished video pieces he produces.

Jason considers himself fortunate to be working with some of the most highly sophisticated HD video equipment available.

Outside of work, Jason is a flight fanatic. He has successfully earned his private pilot license - three days before the birth of his daughter in November of 2010 nonetheless! Jason wed fellow St. Norbert alum Amy Beyer-Wright '98 in 2005.  Together, Jason and Amy cherish spending time with family and enjoy geocaching. They also enjoy biking and taking mini vacations.
