Professional profile
Bob Rutter received his Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1985. Rutter taught high school social studies for 10 years before becoming Associate Research Scientist at the National Center on Effective Secondary Schools.
Rutter has been at St. Norbert College since 1987 where he served as Director of Teacher Education until his appointment as Associate Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness.
Rutter has published numerous journal articles and co-authorized one book on topics such as students at-risk, restructuring, service learning and teacher efficacy.
