Bio
My name is Katie Thiel and this is my second year returning to the parish student staff as the Public Relations Intern. I’m excited to once again create the weekly church bulletin and Common Prayer worship aids, but also to expand my duties through planning and promoting several parish events. I am a senior double majoring in English and communication. This past summer I worked for the City of Appleton Parks and Recreation Department as their Marketing and Communication intern. The internship gave me excellent experience that I will use this year as well as after college when I pursue a career in communication, public relations, marketing or event planning. I’m looking forward to one again being apart of this supportive parish community. |

Hopes for the year: To enjoy every minute of my junior year. I will do this by learning as much as I can from each of my classes, meeting new people, maintaining existing relationships, and having fun.
Favorite place to pray on campus: The Burke Hall chapel during Wednesday night mass.
