Elementary Religious Education Intern 12 hours per week
Job duties include working with college student catechists, cooperating with the other interns and the Religious Education Coordinator in the planning of monthly Generations of Faith sessions for elementary students, and coordinating other social and service activities. Also, the intern is responsible for the sacramental preparation of students and parents for Eucharist, and working in cooperation with the Middle School Religious Education Intern in the preparation for the sacrament of Reconciliation.
Strong organizational skills are important.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with elementary students in a church/religious setting.
Public Relations Intern: SUMMER ONLY 20 hours per week
The ideal candidate will bring creative skills to designing the Parish Sunday Community Corner, parish worship aid, Common Prayer worship aid and any other Parish PR brochures etc.
Preferred skills: Experience in Publisher or similar programs.
Middle School Religious Education Intern 12 hours per week
Job duties include working with college student catechists, cooperating with the other interns and the Religious Education Coordinator in the planning of monthly Generations of Faith sessions for middle school students, and putting together other social, retreat and service activities.Other responsibilities include working in cooperation with the Elementary Religious Education Intern with the sacramental preparation of students and parents for Reconciliation (2009-2010) and cooperating with the High School Religious Education Intern with Confirmation Preparation during the following year (2010-2011).
The ideal candidate will have experience working with middle school students in a church/religious setting and also have strong organizational skills.
2 Music Ministry Interns 12 hours per week
Job duties include planning and leading music for Sunday liturgies, Common Prayer and other prayer services; working with other musicians; and general office duties in the music ministry office.
The ideal candidate will have strong musical/keyboard skills, experience in church music and an interest in ministry. Preferred but not required: vocal skills
