Novelist to appear on TV show

Novelist Dean Bakopoulos and host Michael Marsden (Academic Affairs) will discuss the importance of public support for the humanities during the January “Conversations from St. Norbert College” television show.

 

Bakopoulos is the author of the critically acclaimed novel “Please Don’t Come Back from the Moon” and is the executive director of the Wisconsin Humanities Council in Madison, Wis. He is also the founding director of the Wisconsin Book Festival.

“Conversations from St. Norbert College” airs Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. on Time Warner Cable Television channel 4 in Green Bay, Howard/Suamico and Seymour; channel 4 in the Fox Cities; channel 2 in Neenah/Menasha; channel 5 in De Pere, Ashwaubenon and Bellevue; and on NET cable channel 46 in Pulaski. “Conversations” also airs in Milwaukee, Marshfield, Wisconsin Rapids and Marquette, Mich.

The show may also be seen on Wisconsin on Demand, Time Warner Cable’s local video-on-demand channel 1111, available free to Time Warner Cable’s digital cable customers in 70 communities in northeast Wisconsin.
