Go “Klubbing” online with St. Norbert alumni

There are countless reasons to love St. Norbert. Perhaps the most important is the feeling of community the college fosters.

That community has taken virtual form with KnightKlub, a recently launched online social network just for St. Norbert alumni. Named for the campus hangout familiar to alumni from the ’40s to the ’90s, its purpose is the same as its namesake’s: to get Green Knights together.

In case you need convincing that KnightKlub is the new place to be, here are 10 reasons to check it out:

1 You can search easily for classmates and friends by class year to find out where they are and what they’re up to. You never know who might be living right around the corner from you.
2 If you don’t belong to a social network already, KnightKlub is an easy and safe place to see what the buzz is all about.
3 It’s a free and easy way to post job openings at your organization and to browse openings posted by other St. Norbert alums.
4 Where else can members of the now defunct Adventure Club or Sign of the Times student newspaper get together to reminisce? (These clubs and more than 150 others have group pages.)
5 It’s one social network where you won’t have to worry about being spammed with external advertising, Mafia Wars or Farmville.
6 You’ll be the first to learn about upcoming events – and you can register for them simply, without leaving KnightKlub.
7 If you're already a member of Facebook, you'll be able to log in with the same credentials, using the Facebook connect feature.
8 If you get married, have a baby or are promoted, you can use KnightKlub to submit your news to St. Norbert College Magazine.
9 Where else can an alumni community of 17,500 people in 35 countries meet in the same place?
10 Your classmates will love you for getting involved! KnightKlub will be hopping if we all dive in together.

KnightKlub is brought to you by the office of alumni and parent relations, where staff are available to help with any questions you might have about the network. You can e-mail the alumni office at alumni@snc.edu.
