New web sites will help alumni and other friends stay informed about progress with two important opportunities affecting the future of the College. Keep up to date with all the activity leading up to the construction of the new Miriam B. and James J. Mulva Library. Right now you can go to the Mulva library web site for an overview of the project, as well as the most current design plans and a list of preparatory work currently underway. Next spring, this same site will give you a window on the progress of construction at the site of the new library itself. As the College seeks the right leader to serve as its seventh president, you can also use the web to follow the work of the presidential search committee. The presidential search web site serves as an informational resource for all members of the St. Norbert community, as well as a proactive recruiting vehicle. You are encouraged to share this information with potentially interested candidates and to submit nominations. Special thanks go to the many alumni who are serving on committees for these two major opportunities, or who have contributed to the construction of the library. You can read more about both of these initiatives in the fall issue of the St. Norbert College Magazine, due out early this month. This issue contains the president’s report and a special series of features on the College’s identity. |
