Opportunities in international education provide expanded world view

Gratzia Villarroel, associate professor of political science at St. Norbert College, put in a guest appearance on a recent episode of the television show broadcast from campus. She spoke about international connections and the educational opportunities they present.

Villarroel has recently returned from a year's sabbatical as a Santo Domingo visiting scholar at Harvard University's David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies. She is currently working on a book about political change and the status of women in South America.

At St. Norbert, Villarroel directs the Washington Semester and the U.N. Seminar, two of the initiatives that are discussed in this edition of "Conversations from St. Norbert."
