To use an e-mail program such as Thunderbird, Outlook, Mail, or another e-mail client program to access your e-mail on Zimbra, you need to configure it according to the following e-mail server information:

smtprelay.snc.edu, SSL security, port 465, with server authentication (“Use name and password”) enabled using your 6-character network login ID as the User Name |

*Note: The off campus outgoing/SMTP host/server works from both on and off campus, so if you have a computer that you're going to be taking back & forth between the campus network and other locations, use off campus outgoing server settings.
To set up the e-mail application on a smart phone, tablet, or other mobile device to send and receive mail through Zimbra:
