St. Norbert vocabulary for parents

Parents, when you talk to your student, does it ever feel like he/she is speaking a totally different language? Do you find that your student uses abbreviations for everything and you are always asking him/her to explain what he/she means?

Well, we’re here to help you conquer St. Norbert lingo, a few words at a time.

SNC News
The campus newsletter, sent to students by e-mail three times a week, regarding upcoming events and any news on campus.

Advisement
Two days set aside each semester for students to meet with their adviser to discuss course selection for the next semester. There are no classes held on advisement days so that students are free to meet with their advisers. Advisement days occur each November and April.

Turning Responsibility Into Powerful Service is a service program that offers alternative break options and allows students to participate in week-long service projects at various sites throughout the country.
