Spring 2007
Letter from the director
Jake Czarnik-Neimeyer ’77, director of alumni and parent relations
Dear parents and friends of St. Norbert College:
After two months in the alumni and parent relations office, I am so impressed with all the incredible students, staff, faculty and administration we call the St. Norbert College community. It is the people, of course, who make the community and there is a strong spirit of care and concern for everyone. I hope that this is the experience of your son or daughter as well.
As an alum and parent of a current St. Norbert student, I am particularly pleased with the extra efforts made to make sure everyone belongs, and parents and visitors feel welcome. I have certainly experienced that strong sense of community as I moved through life as a student, alum, parent of a student and now an employee of St. Norbert College. This strong experience of belonging has influenced many prospective students when they visited the campus for the first time. I hope you have also experienced this same hospitality during your time in the St. Norbert community.
I hope you have been able to enjoy one of the many events on campus. One event you won’t want to miss is the upcoming Alumni College on May 17-18, 2007. This learning opportunity is open to all parents, as well as alumni.
Feel free to call me (920-403-3943) or any member of our alumni and parent relations staff to address your questions. We look forward to meeting you soon and hope you share in the PRIDE we all feel toward the St. Norbert College community and this place our sons and daughters call home for four short years.
